Pure form, the challenge of freezing motion, playing with defiance of gravity--nonrepresentational work is the distillation of a sculptor's eye. I apply the same triangulated construction to free organic shapes, the natural rust patina enhancing the supple effect, or the red enamel flaming its presence. Almost a diversion from my other pieces, these works let me play with shapes and composition with abandon.
