Maybe it's because my own two feet are so firmly planted on the ground that I have always admired the lightness and joy that dancers can achieve. Balance and movement are the key to bringing my sculptured dancers to life. "Joyous" is the first word I hear from studio visitors and as they walk among the dancers leaping across my outdoor spaces, they almost always can be seen lifting their own arms or legs to join in the spirit!
