How to translate my style and heavy materials into a feathered, light creature seemed a formidable challenge until I gave it a try, and my studio almost took flight as big birds seemed to fly out of the flat sheets of hard steel. Gardens and birds have a natural affinity, and collectors of my work say their outdoor spaces are brought to life with them.
